The Opening Ceremony of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games was the biggest live event of 2004, if not ever, with an astonishing TV audience of 4.6 Billion worldwide!

Marcus Dillistone was contracted as Associate Producer Music with responsibility for managing the recording and delivery of final music mixes and stems for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

The Greek creative team and the MD George Koumendakis, chose extremely diverse music for the 3.5 hour Opening Ceremony and the 2.5 hour Closing Ceremony. The music provided the backbone of the show and was a key part of almost every element.

Marcus returned to Athens to complete the soundtrack to 'Lights2'. He worked with colleague and Olympic mixer Paul Stefanidis.

In January 2005 at the all new Ster Cinema complex on Acharnon, Marcus held the Premiere screening of The Troop and Lights 2, which was attended by many Greek friends and colleagues. The event enjoyed an excellent turnout and was impeccably hosted by Ster Cinemas whose high quality presentation facilities did the films true justice.
